In Depth Review
Karan and Charan(Arjun Kapoor) are two identical twins who are separated as infants after a car accident takes their parent’s life. They come under the custody of their uncle, Kartar Singh, who in turn gives Karan to his sister( Ratna Pathak Shah) who lives in London and Charan to his brother(Pavan Malhotra) who lives in Punjab in India.
The problem starts when Karan is asked to marry but he manages to dupe his brother Charan and gets him to see the girl instead, not known to him that his brother has a girlfriend called Nafisa(Neha Sharma) back in India. While Karan convinces his girlfriend(Illena D’Souza) that he will talk about her to his parents soon. Rest of the movie is a comedy of errors where Anil Kapoor shines and out performs everyone, the senior actors in the movie are spot on and put in their 100% in each of the scenes given to them. Athiya Shetty has a forgettable outing in this movie. Arjun Kapoor does a good job with the double role given to him.
None of the songs are catchy other than the remake of the 90’s favourite Hawa Hawa. There are a lot of songs in the film which is one of the reasons why the runtime of this movie is over 2 hours 30 mins.
Go for this movie, it will leave you in splits.
